BrianE since: May 26, 2009 from: Muatre, Zimbabwe | I have a databse that is on a network drive, and is password protected. The networked drive is mapped to the PC with ASP Report Wizard on it as a virtual drive (m:) I have tried using this as the init string and it is not working: objWiz.Init("Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source=m:\Kapp-Jack Data.mdb;Jet OLEDB:Database Password=ABCDEFGHI;") The page opens with an error that states: Errors Occured! Error #:-2147467259 'm:\Kapp-Jack Data.mdb' is not a valid path. Make sure that the path name is spelled correctly and that you are connected to the server on which the file resides. Do I need to initilaise an ODBC driver, what am I missing? From the same PC, I can open M:/ and that databse, and when the password is ubmitted, I have full access, so I am struggling to see what the problem can be. Thanks Brian | ||||||
