...Hello there...

Can you please tell me the difference between the ASPWebSolution software I've downloaded -- ASP Report Wizard (Free Version) -- and the screenshots on your main page? The screenshots look...erm.. prettier.... They also make the software appear to have more functionality.

Thanks,

Andrew

Make sure you also have the stylesheet (styles.css) in the same folder as your .asp page.
You can download a copy from the link below:

http://aspwebsolution.com/products/report_wizard/demos/styles.css

Also, you can download the sample applications from our downloads page which comes with all the files you can customize.

For more information on customizing your reports, check our online manuals located at the following links:

Thanks! It looks great now!

...I keep finding that there are files missing... I started off with only default.asp...I've now added styles.css and reports.asp...

I've installed and reinstalled the software, and I only get "default.asp." I have to add the other two. Am I using a bad setup file? Shoud I have more than these three files?

All you actually need is:

1. default.asp - which runs the report wizard
2. reports.xml - to store your report definitions
3. styles.css  - for the report's display style.

The report wizard will normally create both reports.xml & styles.css but it doesn't in a secure mode that is why you just have to create them by hand.

Note that these file names can be changed.

Also, check the post below to see how to create a reports.xml file.
