mfreeze since: Apr 24, 2006 from: Clinton, NJ | I installed the ASP Report Wizard for a client on his Win/2003 server. Everything went well until I accessed the page and clicked on ‘Build Report’. I then received a ‘error on page’ message. When I clicked on the message it says: Line: 8 Char: 462 Error: ‘check1.length’ is null or not an object Code: 0 URL: http://www.teshonline.com/aspreport/ The line that is failing is: .LincenseKey = "xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx" (changed to protect you know who) The key was copied directly from the email sent to my client from sales@aspwebsolution.com. I know the index.asp works because I copied it from a working site and just changed the license key and the heading text. Can anybody point me to what might be going wrong? Is it possible I have a bad key?

ghost from: Washington, DC | Make sure you have initialized your report wizard's connection string and that your database contains at least 1 table or view. ------------------------- Ghost

mfreeze since: Apr 24, 2006 from: Clinton, NJ | I found the problem. The connection string changed for SQL 2005. The provider now has to be 'Provider=SQLNCLI'.
