Hi,

I am using the trial version of Report Wizard. My database is in MS SQL2000 and I am using NVARCHAR & NTEXT fields to store data. The data in these fields can be in any font e.g. Cyrillic.

I have inserted data in Cyrillic font into the tables with these fields e.g Name & Address.

When I get the report using Report Wizard, I get  "???" characters in place of the Cyrillic characters. For example the Name field contains "ΘΛδικҗ" the output in Report Wizard is "??????" i.e. 6 question symbols for 6 Cyrillic characters.

Is this due to an error on my part or a limitation of Report Wizard not being able to render Unicode Characters ? Please advise me on this if there is any solution to this problem.

Do you have Cyrillic characters installed in your browser?

Yes Cyrillic is installed. There is a problem with IE not showing all the characters properly, but FireFox dispalys all the characters properly. I have tried opening the reports in both the browsers, but the same result "????" for cyrillic characters.

If I develop the reports in Crystal Reports (bundled with .NET), export it to PDF format and view the report (in both IE & Firefox) the Cyrillic characters are displayed properly. The PDF report opens in the web-browser.

Hi,

I browsed that site and it displayed perfectly on my system, without those funny characters. Thanks.
