jpyle![]() ![]() since: Oct 10, 2003 from: somewhere | I have an error to report in the wizard. The error is in adding summaries to a report for a field that has the table name attached eg. "[Deliveries].Quantity". The summary function does not work for a field of this type. This will occur when multiple tables are selected and the same field name occurs in more than one table. The wizard will append the table name and the field name together to differentiate the fields. I have attempted to use the summary function to accumulate a sum total of a quantity field of this type and it does not work. If I only select a single table, and therefore only the field name is listed without the table name, then the sum total function works correctly. Thanks.

jpyle![]() ![]() since: Oct 10, 2003 from: somewhere | Just to confirm. I purchased the complete ASP & VB source code version of the report wizard and am not using the free version. I realize that you are in a push to get the new version out, but I hope that support for those of us who have purchased version 1 will not suffer as a consequence. Thanks.
