I can view all the tables and start the report generation process but at the last screen after I click FINISH, nothing happend, just Hang and did not get any message.

already granted full access permission on the file directory.

Check your folder's attributes from windows explorer and make sure it is not Read-Only

thx for your prompt reply,

Explorer keep give me Green Box on the Read-Only attribute and every time I tick or untick then apply, it doesn't save the changes.
I did checked the folder even using attrib cmd to delete the Read-Only, as guided by microsoft.
I got this from microsoft to update the Read-Only Attribute using ATTRIB CMD instead of using explorer.
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;326549

but even the read only attribute is deleted/clear (ATTRIB -R), when I check using explorer still give me Green Box on the Read-Only attribute.  (I am still looking on solution for this)

any idea? is this the cause that makes your apps not working? (btw, I tried to install on another machine running XP Prof, and it gives me the same result)

cheers,

I guess my problem is really a XP Pro problem, I found simiar problem and tricks but still not work for me.

----
Why can't I remove the read-only flag from a Windows XP or Windows 2000 folder?

I think I give up with this one

Create the reports.xml file from scratch as shown  below

<report_wizard version="2">
    <groups>
       <group id="" title =" General Reports " />
    </groups>
    <reports />
</report_wizard>

and also make sure IIS recognizes your folder as an application. Click on the Application button as shown below:

Create application in IIS
