scott69 from: UK | Hi, I have a field with some decimal values....if a whole number is in the record it is displayed, no problem. If it is say for example 2.5 it displays as a date as shown below. It makes no difference if the database field is text or decimal....Any ideas?

scott69 from: UK | I used no formatting for this at all within the tool itself. Within the database I tried formatting the field as text and then as decimal, with the same result unfortunately. Regards, Scott.

scott69 from: UK | Me again ..:-( I have this same problem with the decimals not displaying correctly. The values are displayed correctly in both the Access table and the query that I use for the underlying report. As you can see from the attached image, which shows the same records in both the Access query and the AspWebsolution tool, side by side - the values in the red boxes are what is different - a date is shown instead of the decimal value.....notice that "10.0" displays as "10" which is OK I guess, but the "12.50" displays as "30/12/1899"....I'm old but not that old! Any ideas?
