jpyle![]() ![]() since: Oct 10, 2003 from: somewhere | I would like to report an error in the build report screen. If the user selects table(s) for their report and clicks "Build Report", but then fails to select any fields from the tables, an error message is displayed "Incorrect syntax near the keyword 'FROM'.". I think there should be some checking to make sure the user selects fields from the tables before proceeding. I would also like to submit a change request. I would like to be able to create a report that would have a filter for the current date, eg. "Date()". I have tried to manually add this for the filter but I get a sql error - "Syntax error converting character string to smalldatetime data type." This would really be useful in a saved report, the user would not have to recreate the report everyday, they would only need click the link to run it for their results. Thanks! | ||||||
