On further observation, ANY change to an existing report seems to corrupt the reports file. I get a can't write to reports file...then the report seems to be permanently corrupted. It can be created fine.....but every change corrupts the report....I have to delete and build from scratch.

Also.....I not have two pages that use the report object. The pages share a common images and locale path setting...but different report paths...two unique report.xml files. I assume that is OK. Rights on both files are identical.
